As was many people, I was immensely saddened at the death of the iconic David Bowie this week. 

I think it's safe to say he inspired a great deal of us in some way or other, and I remember listening to him for the first time, when I was looking through my uncles cassettes (yes, cassettes, kids!) and discovering a band called Queen, and this incredibly endearing man named Ziggy Stardust.

And I've never looked back.
