Hellboy Deco Poster
I think Hellboy was a massively ahead of it's time movie. Guillermo del Toro's adaptaion (starring Ron Perlman), was loosely based on the Dark Horse Comics graphic novel 'Hellboy: Seed of Destruction' by Mike Mignola, and whilst it was well received by most critics, I don't think the audience for 'superhero' movies was quite there yet, and had it been released amongst the Avengers-era of movies, I think it would've done a lot better.
Anyway, the poster is bold reds and black, with Hellboy (based on the Pearlman version) takes centre stage, with a bold black cross against a red background, surrounded with a black/white border, with the tagline "I'm fireproof, you're not".
As always, all done in Photoshop and Krita, with a Wacom Intuos Pro, mouse and keyboard.
