So, over on Podcast vs Player, Dan and myself are writing (and directing and filming) a new short called "Cal & Dan: Private Dicks", which is a film Noir type of deal, about two Private Detectives who go solving some cases.
So, I decided to have little play around with the theme, and made this Neo-Noir style poster, humbly based on an alternative Blade Runner poster by the extremely talented Tibor Lovas.
. The actual short has nothing to do with the future year 2052, nor does it have any neon.
So there you go.
All done in Photoshop and Krita, with a Wacom Intuos Pro, mouse and keyboard.

Well it's been an incredibly long time since I did an update, both here and over at Podcast vs Player, mostly down to personal reasons for myself, (and lazy reasons concerning Dan over at PvP), but, at least in some capacity, I'm back!

So you may be aware, that my collective work all falls under Broken Pony, that's all my art, books, music, videos outside of Podcast vs Player. If you've followed my work, you' see I'm a big fan of 80's, neon style art, with a big influence from James White, possibly my favorite 80's style artist. He did all the art for Far Cry: Blood Dragon, one of my most highly treasured games; it just oozes 80's glam neon, which is just outstanding.
Anyway, I've decided to collect all my 80's style work into the 'Amped Series' with the first piece being a revamp of the Broken Pony Stallion, which has seen many makeovers so far, but for now, this is the new piece.

What if the Punisher: Warzone movie came out in the 80's? Well, maybe it would have fared a little better, slugging it out with the 80's action films of the time; it certainly has the 80's action chomps! So here's my version!

More 80's goodness, this time a "VHS Poster" for Uncharted 4, for the video I've recently done over at Podcast vs Player, in which I play the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta. Check it out HERE!
As you can probably tell from alot of the stuff I do (especially over at Podcast vs Player) I'm a big fan of old 80's aesthetics. I think the overly saturated, neon induced colours and just the style in general is one of the most underrated forms of art these days.
So, with that being said, here's a Breaking Bad VHS poster I did the other morning!
